ESAB introduced the advanced Savage A50 LUX model to its full line of welding helmets. The new automatic helmet includes premium features found on ESAB’s Sentinel™ helmet, such as the HALO™ headgear and advanced OpTCS™ true-color viewing at a flawless EN 1/1/1/1 optical level. In addition, it boasts a number of exclusive new features, like an integrated work light, redesigned shell, quick-release front lens and simplified auto-darkening filter (ADF) user interface. It features an exclusively designed molded lens recessed in the helmet shell, reducing scratches and damage when laying the helmet on its front. An exclusive feature on the Savage A50 LUX is its simple, pushbutton digital ADF interface for quick adjustments. The simple 5-button user interface with simplified LCD graphic display is glove-friendly and intuitive.

Arc flash glove
The Mechanix Wear SpeedKnit™ Arc Flash S35CJ06 gloves protect hands working with energized equipment in environments where the risk of fire, arc flash, and cut hazards are present. Arc flash injuries can be highly dangerous and costly — both to workers and the business. Rated for EN 407 Level 4 limited flame spread, these gloves can withstand up to 300 °F of contact heat and 12 kcal of arc flash energy and are an important part of a complete arc flash protection kit. Comfortable 13-gauge aramid blended machine knit shell conforms to the hand protecting it with EN 407 Level 4 limited flame spread and Level 2 arc flash as well as providing ANSI A5 level cut resistance. The palm side features a sandy neoprene coating providing durable abrasion resistance and excellent gripping power in wet and oily conditions.
