HAZARD RESOURCES
In order to help employers and consumers manage their exposure to a variety of hazards at both work and home, AIHA – the association for scientists and professionals committed to preserving and ensuring occupational and environmental health and safety (OEHS) in the workplace and community – announced the launch of its new website, Healthier Workplaces. The website provides free resources for employers and employees to safeguard worker health and well-being, including keeping workplaces safe from infectious disease outbreaks and pandemics. Consumers can also learn how to address health risks in their homes arising from natural disasters such as wildfires and floods, as well as mold.

LADDER SAFETY
Throughout the year Werner is leading ladder safety awareness through a variety of in-person and online training courses and resources. From easily scheduling onsite safety trainings to accessing a suite of free Ladder Safety Courses that offer certification, participants can learn in multiple ways. In addition, several valuable resources are available free for download, including the comprehensive Climbing Pro Guidebook and Ladder Inspection Form to ensure there’s no damaged or missing parts before each use. Werner invites both professionals and homeowners to participate in Ladder Safety Month by signing up for a free Safety Training or Product demo, taking a Free Online Course or sharing ladder safety tips through social media using #LadderSafetyMonth.

OSHA EDUCATION
Continuing its ongoing commitment to supporting skilled trades professionals, WD-40® Brand is partnering with OSHA Education Center, an American Safety Council company, to provide construction professionals and general industry workers nationwide with courses that help them get the job done right. The affiliated courses, which include aerial and scissor lifts training, OSHA forklift certification, as well as OSHA 10- and 30-hour courses on the basics of occupational safety and health, are federally regulated and developed by American Safety Council. Additionally, a collaborative course exclusive to OSHA Education Center, Industrial Maintenace Training, provides essential training on chemical safety, product formulations and equipment/machine maintenance.
